Do you know how Obama chooses his ties? Is there a tie committee?

Hi all,

As many other people, I’m looking to find out the Tie Obama wore at the election night rally in Chicago on November 4th 2008 when he was just elected.
It was red with white stripes.

In the hope someone could help me to find this Tie.
I would absolutely find and buy it.

Great questions.

We’re looking into a smoother way to update the calendars regularly. Keep in mind that it will almost always be at least a day out of date while we collect data for current neck wear events.

Obama has worn two ties in one day on a couple occasions. For an example, check out February 24th on the Tie Calendar.

Neck of State uses the local date for all neck wear reporting. However, as of this writing, President Obama has not left North America, so it hasn’t been an issue thus far.

The first one’s more of a suggestion than question… Your calendar’s falling behind! Is there a way you can automate it?

Have you ever caught images of Obama wearing two different ties in one day?

What if Obama is in a different time zone, so that the date the photo was taken is different from the date in your time zone? Which day will it count as?

Could you post a running count of how many different ties he’s worn somewhere? And you might be able to contact Obama’s press secretary for information on where he purchases ties.

Unfortunately we do not know where the President purchases his neck ties, but we’re looking into it and we’ll post that information as long as it comes from a reliable source.

I dont know but I REALLY want the red tie with white stripes, and the blue tie with white stripes. Does ANYONE know where I can get these ties????

Does anyone know the brand of his ties? especially the red one that he wore this past week? the red with the white stripped? my boyfriend loves it!
